MANGIAMOS MADE ME A DELICIOUS PIE AND I ATE MOST OF IT ON THE ROAD AND THEN I ATE THE REST THE NEXT DAY!!!!! It changed my life and now I own a jet ski and most of my wildest dreams are coming true. I still don't have lazerbeam eyeballs, but i have a delicious pizza, because I immediately went back to Mangiamos for another pizza. The end.
I love their calzones and strombettas. My wife enjoys the Stromboli pizza and the manager's special was a hit. Good quality pizza. We always take it to go. The dining area rarely has any patrons so I assume most people take it to go. The staff is courteous and prompt. The pizzas are hot and consistent. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. What more could you ask for?
I wanted quick and easy on a Saturday night and chose Mangiamo, which is nearby. I had eaten here twice before and both times it was terrific, and so I was a bit worried to see some relatively low overall ratings on Yelp. Well, I had my 3rd Mangiamo tonight and it was ... Delicious. Yes, the crust is thin, but that's New York style. It was a bit expensive, too: $32 for a large Mangia Meat. But the pizza was covered with delicious toppings, and my wife and I were barely able to eat half of it. Leftover pizza in the fridge? Always recommended. Next time I want a takeout pizza, I'll go again to Mangiamo.
LOVE Mangiamo Pizza. It's great East Coast style thin-crust pizza. Very convenient, right off the freeway in Deer Park, Aptos. We always get takeout but there is indoor seating as well. Since we discovered Mangiamo, my kids won't eat pizza from anywhere else. :)
